Product Description
Samsara, with beech game board and marbles in turquoise
by Thomas Weber
Samsara - translated from Indian Sanskrit means "constant wandering". Game board 18 x 38 x 2 cm, in beech 12 game pieces and 2 scoring pieces (12 turquoise and 2 glass marbles) 2 eye dice
In Indian Sanskrit, samsara means "constant wandering" and stands for the eternal cycle, the wheel of life.
The game board also shows a circular path, represented by two tracks or 24 double spaces. These fields are round on one side and square on the other. The outer track leads to the finish field.
As each player is allowed to move all the marbles, you can thwart your opponent's plans by skilfully moving the numbers rolled on the dice, and perhaps even pull a marble that you thought was already safely at the finish to your own side.
The appeal of Samsara lies in recognising your own options and changing tracks in a tactically clever way. The winner is the first player to reach the centre with their scoring marker.
Caution! Not suitable for children under the age of three. Small parts can be swallowed.
