Terry Drury and Keith Holland were one of the best British privateer pairs to drive the GT40, even though the car was no longer competitive. They qualified for the BOAC 1000KMs in a good 22nd place. During the race, the pair of drivers performed well, completing 91 laps before technical difficulties forced them to retire.
