The IS-2 tank was developed in 1943 as a successor to earlier Red Army heavy tank models. The crew consisted of 4 people. The main armament was a 122 mm gun that could penetrate the armour of the best German tanks such as the Tiger and Panther. The IS-2 played an important role in the Battle of Berlin and contributed to the final defeat of the Third Reich.
