The stand model is a replica of the US destroyer DD445 Fletcher. The US Fletcher was the lead ship of the destroyer class of the same name, of which up to 175 were built during the Second World War and which had a long and distinguished service career. The balanced shape of the ship as well as the 5-inch gun turrets, five torpedo launchers and two 20 mm anti-aircraft guns and a depth charge launcher made the Fletcher stand out.
