The stand model is a replica of the space shuttle Atlantis, which was first launched by NASA on 12 April 1981.
During its 30 years of service, this shuttle carried out numerous historic missions, such as the construction of the International Space Station. Atlantis carried out its last mission on 21 July 2011. The entire shuttle fleet is now to be exhibited in US museums.
