Abrams is one of the best tanks on the modern battlefield! It has been produced by the American defence company General Dynamics Land Systems since 1980. The tank is constantly being adapted to new standards that improve its combat performance. The main feature of the tank is the turret, which takes up almost as much surface area as the rest of the tank. The Abrams design features multi-layered armour that provides a high level of protection against HEAT ammunition, reactive armour shields and dynamic shields. Abrams tanks were first used in combat in the early 1990s during Operation Desert Storm. Since then, Abrams have participated in subsequent armed conflicts involving the United States. The following set relates to the 2003 Gulf War.

Use the COBI kit to build the Abrams M1A2 tank, developed under licence from General Dynamics Land Systems. The model has been recreated in sensational 1:35 scale. The latest version of this top tank offers even more detailed finishes. This was made possible by using new building blocks from the ever-growing catalogue of elements created by the COBI company. The model has only high-quality imprints that do not rub off during use. The vehicle has a working crawler chassis and hinged hatches where you can place the crew members. The vehicle turret and barrel are movable. A brick-mounted engine is located under a removable service hatch. The Abrams tank has been enriched with accessories such as a block bag, spare tracks, ammunition and two machine guns. The hatch allows access to the engine, which is replicated from blocks. The set includes a very interesting figure of an American tank driver equipped with a personal pistol.
