This wooden DIY mechanical bus model is an exciting addition to the Harry Potter™ collection from Ugears and a real engineering masterpiece.

To start the bus, hold it firmly and press down the magic manipulator button. Then release it and the Driving KnightTM thunders away thanks to its cogwheel system, which transfers the energy of the spring to the wheels. The “tilting” cogwheel allows the bus to continue rolling at idle.

But the most important feature of the Driving Knight™ model kit is its ability to change its dimensions, i.e. to become narrower or wider, with a turn of the magic manipulator. Turn the knob on the roof of the bus anti-clockwise to make the bus narrower to weave through traffic. Turn the knob clockwise to widen it (and all passengers) back to its original size. But there’s something else special – when the width of the bus changes, so does its speed! In its normal (non-compressed) state, the bus travels incredibly fast. If you make the bus narrower, an internal mechanism makes the bus drive in slow motion.
