The floor model is a replica of the Messerschmitt Me262 A-1A. The revolutionary Messerschmitt Me262 was the first jet-powered aircraft to enter service. The pre-production aircraft with the abbreviation A-0 were first produced in 1944. Then in November 1944, the A-1A variant of the aircraft was released and entered production. The aircraft was equipped with 30 mm cannons in the nose to counter Allied bombers and escorting fighters. The R4M air-to-air missiles under the wings helped give the German Messerschmitt its feared image.
