The floor model is a replica of the “de Havilland Mosquito”, which is also known as the “Wooden Wonder” because it is made almost entirely of wood. It was originally designed as an unarmed fast bomber and served in this role during the Second World War. This TAMIYA model kit version features the fighter-bomber variants introduced in the spring of 1942 and 1943. The model also includes 2 pilot figures to make the diorama look realistic.
