The floor model is a replica of the factory racing bike called the VFR750R released in 1987. The VFR750R is a road-going modification of the RVF750, which successfully competed in the World Endurance Championship. Accordingly, as in the RVF750, technologies from space technology as well as titanium, carbon fibre, Kevlar and magnesium have been used. Due to the high-quality aluminium frame and the rear wheel with central locking, the VFR750R became a collector’s item even before it was produced.
