William Lendrum “Billy” Mitchell was initially a Major General in the US Army, but after his retirement in 1926, he was instrumental in the expansion of the American Air Force until 1936. The twin-engine, medium-weight B-25J bomber was named after him. The B-25 bombers were deployed in the Second World War from 1940 and were used by several factions. With 4,318 aircraft produced, the Type J was the most widely used bomber in the series. Authentic surface details . Detailed cockpit with dashboard.
