The floor model is a replica of the M4A3E8 Sherman Fury. The M4 Sherman medium tank was the main tank used by the United States during World War II. It was produced in a considerable number of units and formed the backbone of the United States’ armoured forces at the time. The Sherman was produced in different variants and versions. Production of the M4A3E8 versions began in late 1944. Nicknamed the Easy Eight, the M4A3E8 made several technical improvements to improve Sherman’s operational efficiency. The “Easy Eight” took part in the final stages of World War II and actively participated in the Korean War.
