In the spectrum between armour and agility, House Martell has gone to an extreme. Although the spearmen of House Martell are only lightly armoured for combat troops, they are nimble of foot and skilled in the tactics of mutual support. Their distinctive spears stop enemy attacks icily, and their numerical superiority allows them to form the bulk of the Martell battle line. This makes them a unit that (given sufficient numbers) can hold the line and react quickly to events on the battlefield. Still, a commander would do well to support them at all times so they can do their best work.
The unit expansion A Song of Ice & Fire – Martell Spearmen brings a total of 13 miniatures to the popular world of the epic tabletop game. Included are a Banner Bearer of the Spearmen of House Martell, a Captain of the Spearmen of House Martell and eleven Spearmen of House Martell, as well as a Unit Card, a Reinforcement Card and a Movement Tableau.
