The spearmen of House Karstark train tirelessly for this kind of manoeuvre, making them ideally suited to protect your flanks and secure the retreat of your army.

The unit expansion A Song of Ice & Fire – Karstark Spearmen provides House Stark players with a new defensive unit on the battlefield. Armed with sturdy spears and large shields, they wait patiently for the enemy to attack and repel even the most brutal attacks. Their training comes into its own especially when dealing with a single enemy, as they are able to negate any possible positional bonuses their opponents may have.

Note:A Song of Ice & Fire – Stark starter set is required to play the expansion.
