A battlefield is an extremely noisy place. The clang of metal on metal. The thunder of cavalry hooves. The screams of death. The Silent Men, however, do not make a single sound. Made up entirely of mutes, they slink silently across the battlefield, using their speed to inflict wordless death with their axes. Even experienced troops are unnerved by the eerie silence that envelops them.

The unit expansion A Song of Ice & Fire – Silenced Men gives players of House Greyjoy a new, sinister unit for their army. The Silenced Men stalk the battlefield, wielding their greataxes with ease. Like all units of House Greyjoy, they are adept at capturing fallen enemies and gain loot tokens when an enemy line is felled. The silence that comes with the unit shakes enemies to the core and causes them to make panic tests as soon as they are activated. These tests are harder to pass and more devastating on failure, for every loot marker collected by the Silent Men.

To play the expansion, an A Song of Ice & Fire – Greyjoy starter set is required.
