A legendary vehicle on the race track
The Porsche 917 KH was built in 1969 with chassis number 917-021. The Finnish racing drivers Gijs van Lennep and Hans Laine drove the Porsche to eleventh and fifth place in the World Sports Car Championship in the races in Monza and in the 1000 km race at Spa-Francorchamps, which took place on 17 May 1970 at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. Just thirteen days later, Hans Laine died during training at the Nürburgring. The Porsche was one of the most successful racing cars in the sports car championships of its time. Even today, it still manages to significantly shape Porsche’s image as a sports car.

The renowned Porsche 917 KH also lives on in the slot car version. On a scale of 1:32, the EVOLUTION vehicle impresses with its faithful reproduction in mustard yellow with the starting number 43 on the Carrera racetrack. Equipped with front and rear lighting, it looks just like the original. The Carrera Car can also be converted to digital by means of a separate digital decoder.
