My name is Marcus, high priest of the goddess Anere, ruler of Himmelschein and the last living witness of those events. As a chronicler of those days, I will now tell you about the legends. The victorious defense of Twin Wyrm was only the beginning of a long, adventurous journey for our immortal heroes. Even after their victory, they were still under the spell of Claudius’ magic of soul stones. Dark dreams, dark omens and a nameless horror that spoke to them at night forced the heroes to set out again. So they set out and followed the Talonic coast north to the mighty peaks of the Thunder Mountains. Every legend needs a chronicler, and so I kept the promise I made to Master Claudius when he died. I accompanied the heroes and saw the most unbelievable things with my own eyes. And so a new act in our history begins on this cold winter evening, here in the Gasthaus Zur Ersten Heimat in Jungfernstein.
