Information on taking back old electrical appliances
Network technology and embedded solutions from VARIA – order online with environmental awareness!
We also want to set a good example in connection with the new regulations of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG). Ecology is a central concern for us.
Since 2011, VARIA has been committed to accepting and disposing of all old electrical appliances purchased from us by end consumers free of charge. Since 2016, this has also applied to “third-party appliances”, for which we provide a take-back system together with take-e-way GmbH. This means nationwide and in your area.

Important information for end users and private households:
All electrical appliances that can be used in private households are marked with the crossed-out wheeled garbage can symbol. The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled garbage can means that old appliances must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances must not be disposed of with household waste.
End users have the option of returning waste electrical and electronic equipment to our collection points. You can find an overview of all WEEE collection points at www.take-e-back.de.
Waste batteries and accumulators that are not enclosed by the old appliance must be separated from it before being handed in at a collection point.
You are responsible for deleting personal data on the old devices to be disposed of.
Alternatively, private households can return them to the communal collection points in their town or municipality.
