The EXECUTIVE EDITION version of the Citroen Traction 11CV BL, released under licence from the automotive giant from France, is a set created from a huge dose of history that you build block by block! The original car was produced from 1937-1957. It was characterised by a self-supporting body and front-wheel drive. The widely accepted and unofficial name of the car is Traction Avant, which means "front-wheel drive" in French. Our model is equipped with historical emblems of the French Internal Forces (fr. Forces françaises de l'Intérieur). The FFI was a unified organisation that united all parties of the French Resistance during the Second World War! An integral part of the set is a special figure of General Charles Delestraint. He was a famous general who was active in the resistance and organised the resistance in Lyon. After a secret visit to London, the Armée secrète was to take over the leadership. He was arrested by the Gestapo and executed in Dachau on 19 April 1945. In addition to the general, we also find a simple member of the French Resistance in his characteristic uniform and armband! The set is complemented by an exclusive black presentation stand with laser-engraved model names.
