Living Forest Duel (DE)

In the stand-alone Living Forest Duel, two players slipinto the roles of the nature spirits Summer and Winter and compete against each other. In their turn, they always carry out one of two options: reveal the top animal from the common draw pile or use one of their own action markers to carry out an action and thus activate the elements on the animal cards. Players can activate both the cards in their personal animal row and those in the common animal row. During their turn, they can then attract more animals from the common supply row, extinguish fires, plant trees or move Onibi in the direction of the opponent's ghost.

Over the course of the game, a tactical tug-of-war ensues to achieve the four victory conditions and dominate the mystical forest. Living Forest Duellpicks up on the familiar game mechanisms of the 2022 Kennerspiel, but modifies them for the game with two players and adds new components and game elements.
