US81106 - HeXXen 1733: Eerie places
Product information "HeXXen 1733: Eerie Locations" The volume "Eerie Locations" contains around 19 eerie adventure locations. The locations are generic, i.e. they are not concrete and real places in the world, but locations that the HeXXen master can intersperse at will in her adventures and campaigns. The locations include an orphaned lighthouse, a stormy North Sea island, a duelling ground by a copper beech tree, an eerie orphanage, a frozen pond, a haunted hall of mirrors, a devastated village, a bleeding heath and many other eerie places.
Eerie Places is suitable for all HeXXenmeisters who prefer a slightly more open game without having to come up with something completely new. The locations described can be turned into an adventure with relatively little effort. Each location has a background that sheds light on the cruel or traumatic past of this place or its inhabitants.
The background is then also the basis for an adventure idea that follows later in the text. In the middle section of each chapter, the site is described as a whole and in the form of individual sub-locations. Depending on the type of location, there are also optional rules such as environmental effects, which also have an influence on the rules and exploration of the location. A list of rumours (true or false) and some new monster descriptions round off the chapters. At the end, of course, there is a reference to real historical locations - but we already know that from HeXXen 1733. Schaurige Stätten comes in the usual faux leather look of the second edition of HeXXen 1733. The hardcover book comprises 128 pages.
