Numerous full and half-page colour illustrations by Katharina Niko (known for her illustrations of the Grimorum Cantiones and the Heldenbrevier series) as well as ancient initials and decorative frames give the book an immersive fantasy look. All liturgies and ceremonies now have 5 liturgy expansions, at least 2 of which are new and never before published. After the usual descriptions of blessings, liturgies and ceremonies, the section on gestures and prayers has been added. Here you will find a description of the sacred gesture to be performed and the prayer to be uttered for the respective divine action for each tradition that can learn it. For many liturgies and ceremonies, detailed background information, local variants of gestures and prayers, anecdotes about saints, miracles and more are presented.
