A mysterious force has claimed territory in the border region between the Electorate of Saxony, the Kingdom of Bohemia and the Kingdom of Ravenblack and sealed off the area with an impassable wall of thorns. The hunters become aware of this threat in the small town of Aue in the Ore Mountains when they help the mysterious healer Frieda to defeat a man who is turning into a whipping monster of thorns before their eyes. If they are willing to accept Frieda's mission, it will take them across the Ore Mountains to the Wall of Thorns, always pursued by the henchmen of the mysterious Rose Queen. But their quest does not end there, for now they must enlist the friendship of an ancient being in order to find a way through the Wall of Thorns and enter the enchanted Kingdom of Thorns. The journey takes them through cursed forests and dark caves, through cities besieged by alves and real-life locations. This fairytale campaign for advanced hunters contains exciting and challenging battles as well as many opportunities for social activities, research and Savage Tales along the way to further expand the campaign.
