"Lord of the Flies" is your introduction to the game world of HeXXen 1733 - and thus to the wonderful world of fantastic tabletop role-playing games. With the help of this box, you as a player or game master will be taken by the hand to learn the most important rules of the game and at the same time experience an exciting story. As part of the campaign, players will discover how their characters became the heroes they are today before embarking on a campaign of epic proportions.
HeXXen 1733 is set, as the name suggests, in the Baroque period of 1733. However, our game world is somewhat different from the world we know from the history books. HeXXen 1733 is set in the Europe we know, but witches and werewolves, vampires and demons are the cruel truth. It takes the help of brave hunters to defeat the creatures of hell with musket and rapier, spiritual fervour and the arts of alchemy.
The action in "Lord of the Flies" is scattered across the German countryside and leads from the dark forests of East Prussia to a leper camp outside Magdeburg and the magnificent Ludwigsburg Castle. The dangers that the hunters have to face are also very different: sometimes they have to fight hordes of the undead, sometimes they have to prevent a terrible intrigue at court.
Only to end up facing a powerful henchman of Beelzebub. The game box contains everything you need to playfully learn the rules and experience the story. This includes four hunter prologues and hunter sheets, a rule booklet and an explanation of the rules for the game master, a total of four adventure booklets for the four group adventures, a double-sided table mat, four hunter mats and lots of cardboard markers for all situations. The special HeXXen dice set will also be included in the box - this time made of wood for the first time! The box is suitable for 4 to 5 players, one of whom takes on the role of game master.
