Every now and then, a special player emerges who is so talented that no guild can afford to lose him. And when the stakes are high, you can bet on one thing: The usual rules don't apply. The sharks of the guild will stop at nothing to recruit this rising star. Sneaky, conniving, lying, cheating.... you name it, they will do it, because in the Shadow Games, everything is considered fair.

In the Shadow Games, you have to collect enough favours to get the new star player for your guild. Players use various plot and agent cards to bribe, steal and gain favours, but it is not enough to simply play the cards you receive. Luck is with the bluffers! Play a card from your hand and call it whatever you like. If you convince your opponents of your lies, you will not only reap the reward of the card you pretend to possess, but you will also receive a powerful bluffing bonus that will accelerate your victory. Just don't get caught - it will cost you valuable favours to save face.
