Well pushed is half the battle!
Perhaps you remember the term punch card? This invention by Hermann Hollerith was the inspiration for this game.
There are five different perforated discs, four of which fit exactly on the game board. Each perforated board has nine holes, but only a maximum of two holes per board are marked. A marble fits through these marked holes.
At each turn, the active player pushes the outer tile back onto the board and another one off the board. He then places a marble through one of the marked holes into an empty recess on the board.
Before inserting the marble, it is therefore important to think carefully about how the new tile will be rotated, how it will be inserted and where the marked holes will be.
The game is played alternately until one of the two players has four marbles of their own in a row. If a player cannot place any more, they lose immediately.
