DSA5 - Off to adventure - Basalt melting
Basalt Melting
by Isabell Andersen
Every spring, dwarves, elves and humans celebrate the Day of Renewal together at the crater of the volcano Maw. At this festival, the otherwise disparate peoples with their different beliefs forget their differences and welcome together the splendour of the reawakening nature under the light of the rising sun.
Countless pilgrims visit the ancient sanctuary, which on these days looks like the scene of a small folk festival, and those who have made the arduous journey over the ring wall of the volcano find themselves in the company of numerous dwarven dignitaries. But the gloomy shadow of a threat long thought to have been defeated settles over the colourful ceremonies, and the joyful exuberance turns into a fight for survival.
Off to adventure! This is the name of the series of short adventures that come with ready-to-play characters, a few rule expansions and a brief description of the adventure location.
