Shifting Seasons is an abstract tile-shifting game in which players shift season tiles on and off the game board in order to secure particularly valuable tiles for their own playing field. On your turn, you take one of the tiles from the display and slide it into one of the four lanes on the game board. This pushes out a tile on the other side of the track. The active player may now place this tile on their own playing field in the quadrant showing the number to which the tile was pushed.
If you place the tiles skilfully, you can unlock valuable bonuses and fulfil the four scoring cards on display. Precious tiles in the four seasonal colours of spring, summer, autumn and winter give further extra points.
