DSA5 - Tokens of Power

The Stones of Power campaign consists of four individual adventures that take the heroes to the Duchy of Nordmarken. Little by little, the heroes will realise what connections the adventures have until they encounter a great danger for all of humanity in the finale. The Alchemyst: A young girl is saved from drowning at the last moment somewhere in the wilderness between Ironwood and Ingrakuppen, far from civilisation. In tears, she tells us that she has escaped from a dungeon where she was held captive with several other children, and that a man has carried out terrible experiments on the children. This should be reason enough for upright heroes to get to the bottom of the matter. The Hermit: On their way through the Iron Forest, the heroes come across a lonely valley where strange things are happening: Animals are aggressive, aggressive elementals block access to certain places, and those who spend the night here are haunted by terrible nightmares. Do these incidents have anything to do with the mysterious hermit who has been living here for several years? And are the rumours true that somewhere in the valley lies the entrance to a forgotten city of the dwarves? The Merchant: Back in civilisation at last: after the involuntary excursion into the Iron Forest, the heroes reach Albenhus, a tranquil little town on the Great River. But there are adventures to be had here too: A citizen of the town asks for help to expose a villain who deals in forbidden poisons. The Inquisitor: A young woman is accused of witchcraft. The summoned inquisitor takes her into custody and searches for other suspects. Meanwhile, a mixture of fear, superstition and mutual mistrust matures in the small village, which does not weaken as further incidents occur. The heroes are caught up in this atmosphere and are asked by the stern inquisitor to search for more witches. If they refuse, they make themselves suspect ...
