1:56 Italian tanks Semoventi
Item no.: 510025768
Description: 1:56 Italian tanks & Semoventi
The production of Italian tanks during the Second World War centred on the "M" versions. The M-13/40 was the most famous and widely used tank of the Regio Esercito. Equipped with a 47 mm gun, it was characterised by the original structure of the tracks and suspensions as well as the protection provided by the characteristic "bolting". The M-40 self-propelled gun was also developed on its chassis. Armed with a 75 mm howitzer installed in a casemate, it was feared by enemy tanks. The best results were achieved when the M-13/40 was used in combination with self-propelled guns, which could compensate for the limited firepower of the tank. In the course of the war, both the tanks and the self-propelled guns were improved by technical solutions and armament.
