Like all politicians of all times, you will experience the ongoing dilemma: do you pursue your own political goals or do you fight the slowly but steadily rising tensions in society? The historical processes and events have been selected and compiled in consultation with the Stiftung Reichspräsident Friedrich-Ebert-Gedenkstätte. The game is based on the online playable solo game "Friedrich Ebert - The Road to Democracy". This won the German Computer Game Award in the "Best Serious Game" category in 2024. The game contains an extensive 30-page chronicle of historical events, easy access, important decisions.
The gameplay is quickly learnt. However, it is quite tricky to make the right decisions. Which letter should be answered next? How should the influence gained from the letter be best utilised? Is meeting the next milestone more important than combating social tensions? Can you risk responding to an explosive letter right now? Different game modes mean that every game is different despite the same historical events!
