Model kit,1:35 Rus. Sw. KPz JS-3 Stalin (1)
The Spitfire, which fought hard as the Royal Air Force's main fighter aircraft in the Second World War, had a beautiful oval main wing and a narrow fuselage and was far more sophisticated in terms of structure and aerodynamics than its contemporary counterparts. It was powered by the famous liquid-cooled Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. The prototype aircraft first flew in March 1936, and the first series-produced Mk.I flew in August 1938. During the Battle of Britain in the summer of 1940, when Britain faced a national survival crisis, the Mk.I served as an aircraft. The core of the fighter squadron protected Britain from the Luftwaffe onslaught. The Luftwaffe suffered heavy losses and decided to postpone the British invasion indefinitely. Because of this success, the Spitfire became known by the British people as the "Fighter to Save the Nation".
