Master's survival pack VII - Floor plans for Gaslight
by Chris Schlicht
The 7th folder in our Master's Survival Pack series is dedicated to the number 7. We have put together a selection of seven (!) buildings that are typical of the Victorian period at the end of the 19th century, also known as the Gaslight Era because of the predominant lighting.
Chris Schlicht's wonderful floor plans take us from the sumptuous and comfortable residences of the aristocracy and wealthy bourgeoisie, through examples of working life (brickworks, tailor's shop), travelling (railway station) and middle-class living (town house, tailor's shop) to the simple and cramped dwellings of the workers (back house, coach house, servants' quarters).
We've gone to great lengths to get all the big-name Private Eye authors and enthusiasts to suggest adventures. (Such as Thilo Bayer, Jan Christoph Steines, Martin Lindner and many more) And here, too, the 7 is the trump card, because exactly seven authors have so far taken up the pen or keyboard for Private Eye. We have managed to get them all, even the inventor of the role-playing game (Thilo Bayer), enthusiastic about our project.
For all those who play in the Gaslight era, such as Private Eye, Cthulhu Gaslight, Castle Falkenstein or similar systems.
