The Black Cat: Beyond the Towers - Sourcebook, 64 pages (EN edition).
Fasar offers a clever Awakened everything he needs to live and survive. But what could the barren surrounding countryside offer? Plenty of adventure! In the south, rumours are doing the rounds about small, vicious sandcats that are said to be up to mischief among the rocks. On the other hand, the greatest sword master of the land is said to have his hidden domicile out there. Between the peaks where the clouds break, the AlShukhur, creatures half dog, half cat, are said to roam the wasteland on armoured mounts. Even more strange are the stories one hears about RasLamasshu in the north. It is said to be a place ruled by thousands of cats and where humans are servants. If, on the other hand, one follows the Gadang to the southeast, one supposedly comes to the ruined city of Zhamorrah. This is where the Cha ay Zhamorrah are said to exercise their sinister rule. There is also this sinister mesa in the heart of the Gor desert, which spreads eastwards from Zhamorrah. Black towers are said to rise there, inhabited by strange beings who, it is said, are not of this world.
In Beyond the Towers, the game location of Fasar is expanded to include sites populated by Awakened, which add further facets to Fasar's playful possibilities. Some are full of wonders, like RasLamasshu, full of dark secrets, like the ruins of Zhamorrah, or full of new possibilities, like the Black Fortress in the desert of Gor. There are also sand cats and earth wolves as playable species, the culture of the nomadic AlShukhur and their mounts, the rock lizards and giant supplicants.
