The Black Cat: Beyond the Walls - Sourcebook, 69 pages (EN edition).
Wet, muddy and barren! That is the scathing verdict most cats pronounce on the Muhrsape. Only the dog country on the other side of the great bridge meets with even less approval. But the swampy delta of the great river that spreads south of Havena is not only very wet, but also full of dangers and challenges. Will-o'-the-wisps roam here just as much as fairies or worse. Eerie lakes, the all-devouring Mould Land and the steeply rising cliffs of the Pale Teeth hold secrets that you can never be sure should be revealed.
Nevertheless, many awakened ones have found a new home on the islands between the brackish arms of the river, for in the Muhrsape humans are rare and fish plentiful. Thus, cats and dogs can be found not only scattered in hidden dwellings, but also in the marketplace of Moorwinkel, an Awakened village, well protected by a dense hedge of thorns. Here, fish and furs from the Muhrsape are exchanged for all the little useful things from Havena, and here, dogs and cats peacefully share the wealth they have earned together. Things are quite different in the dog country that lies between Havena and the Muhrsape. In this district, called Feldmark by the people, many awakened dogs have retreated, driven out of the other districts by the cats. Here the dogs are the masters, and cats who venture into their territory should be very clever and very quick if they do not want to get their fur tanned.
In addition to descriptions of the Houndlands, the Muhrsape and the picturesque Moorwinkel, this volume includes professions and ancestral gifts for the ancestral children of Praios and the Wanderer, as well as all the rules necessary to create dogs as playable characters.
