From the cloud-crowned High Eternals to the ever-wet swamps of Harodia, from the dusty, remote hinterland of Chababia to the pastures of the Cyclopean Isles hemmed in by rocky bluffs, the Sun Coast is perhaps the most geographically, culturally and commercially diverse region of the entire Aventurian West Coast.

With this audio CD you can bring the sounds of the southern Horas realm to your gaming table. It was conceived by Ralf Kurtsiefer in cooperation with the DSA editors to aurally depict the diverse cultural background of the Sun Coast.

The so-called Wild South of the Horas Empire is a melting pot of cultures, where personal honour and family cohesion shape society and old-established nobility tries to assert itself against the strengthening patriciate. Away from the big cities, the law of the strongest is enforced by guardians of the law who, however, are hardly able to assert themselves against the numerous predatory gangs of the hinterland.

Things are quite different on the Cyclopean Islands, where a stoic and frugal breed of people shares barren cliffs and primeval forests with mystical fairy creatures.

The music on this CD provides an atmospheric backdrop to many of the play scenes on the Cyclopean Sea. The most varied encounters and experiences typical of the south of the Horas realm served as inspiration, and many of them can also be usefully accommodated in the accompanying regional adventure Labyrinth of Intrigue. The album is also suitable as pure musical enjoyment as well as a creativity-enhancing introduction to the multifaceted environment of the Sun Coast.
