Your 1:48 scale DIY wooden model steampunk submarine travels around 2.5 metres thanks to its rubber band motor, has a start/stop switch for better handling and can move straight ahead or turn left and right. The gear system moves the propellers to give your submarine the appearance of underwater propulsion. The steampunk style gives the impression that this watercraft is not a standard product, but rather the result of a brilliant, eccentric inventor's passion for deep-sea exploration.
To get your submersible model going, all you have to do is set the start/stop switch to "stop", make up to 15 half-turns with the button at the back of the boat, place the model on a flat surface and then release it after setting the switch to "start". If you turn the front wheels of your 3D wooden model steampunk submarine slightly to the left or right, it will make funny turns or even a whole circle. Rotating twin propellers and movable "fins" give your submarine the appearance of propulsion and directional control of your submarine. When assembling, pay particular attention to the pendulum, the start/stop system and the winding spanner. Remember to lightly sand and lubricate the gears and other moving parts to ensure their optimal operation.
