October 1888: During the construction of the Metropolitan Police headquarters near Whitehall, which later became known as Scotland Yard, the remains of a body are found. A severed arm had already been discovered on the muddy banks of the Thames in September. Once again, a murderer stalks the streets of London, taking pleasure in scattering the body parts of a poor woman around Whitehall like a macabre scavenger hunt. Rumours once again suspect Jack the Ripper is behind this heinous murder. But the true identity of the murderer and his unfortunate victim remains a mystery: the Whitehall Mystery.
The Whitehall Murder is a clever deduction and bluffing game for 2 to 4 players aged 13 and over, set in London in the time of Jack the Ripper. Three London investigators are hot on the trail of another dangerous murderer who seems to be emulating the atrocities of Whitechapel! The hunt for the mysterious killer begins in the dense network of streets, avenues and waterways.
