The Centurion is a heavy British tank from the 2nd World War which was developed as a defence against the German tanks in 1942. The Mk.III was the most powerful version and was equipped with an L/66.7 20lb gun. It was further developed during the Korean War in 1950 and was an extremely robust and powerful weapon system. Between 1948 and 1956, 2800 units were produced. After the Korean War, the Mk.III was used in many countries such as India, Israel and Egypt.
The model has been faithfully reproduced and features numerous details such as surface textures and weld seams. A 4-channel remote control is required for operation, which can be used to control forward/reverse, track rotation, turret movements, cannon control, etc. The DMD unit provides the true-to-original engine sound as well as machine gun and cannon sounds. Just like the original, the model movements are linked to the firing of the cannon (recoil). An LED simulates the muzzle flash.
