Product Description

The T-34 tank, one of the most important tanks in history. It was developed by the Soviet Union in the interwar period and played a key role in the Second World War.

COBI's model combines Soviet rawness with the architectural craftsmanship of designers. As a result, the machine is durable and perfectly reflects the dimensions and shapes of the historical prototype. In addition, the tank has a functioning chain traction. The turret and barrel are movable. Once you have removed the turret, you can take a look inside the vehicle. We can place a building block model of the engine under the service hatch. The model has permanent imprints imitating colour chips, equipment details and markings (Soviet and Polish to choose from).

The T-34/76 tank, also known simply as the T-34, is one of the most important tanks in history and played a key role in the Second World War. In the 1930s, Soviet engineers began work on a new medium tank to replace the older T-26 and BT-7 models. In 1939, prototypes were created with the designations A-20 and A-32. The final model, the A-34, became the basis for mass production and was given the name T-34. T-34 prototypes underwent intensive testing and mass production began in Kharkov in 1940. The first models had a 76.2 mm L-11 cannon, which was quickly replaced by the more effective F-34 cannon.

The T-34 was first deployed during the German invasion of the Soviet Union in June 1941. Despite initial logistical and training problems, the T-34 proved to be extremely effective on the battlefield. Its sloped armour, good mobility and powerful armament made it an opponent with which German tanks had serious problems. T-34 tanks also found a place in the 1st Warsaw Armoured Regiment, which was part of the 1st Tadeusz Kościuszko Infantry Division. T-34 tanks with a white eagle on the turret fought at Lenino or at the Warecko-Magnuszewski bridgehead, among others.
