Ito is a co-operative card game in which you give clues about a specific topic that match the numbers in your hand. You only ever know your own number, but try to guess the order in which all the cards belong based on the clues you say.

Ito is all about guessing, discussing and laughing together.
If you manage to put all your number cards in the right order, you win together!

Everyone chooses a colour and its colour cards. The number cards are shuffled and the starting card is laid out. Everyone draws a number card and keeps the value secret. Then everyone thinks of a clue that corresponds to the chosen theme and shares it with the others. The aim is to place the number cards face down in ascending order. There is no need to follow a predetermined order of play. Once all the cards have been laid out, you can discuss and adjust the order. If you are happy with the order, the cards are revealed. If you succeed, you have won the game!

To increase the difficulty of subsequent games:
After each game won, someone draws a second number card. This continues with every game you win until each of you draws two cards. How many more number cards can you win with?

With Trees for the Future, we have found a competent partner in terms of sustainable commitment, which we wholeheartedly support with the sales of ito: We are delighted to be able to plant a tree for every game sold through the sale of ito! As trees are not everything, Trees for the Future's other work also involves supporting local families who live from agriculture with knowledge and tools. The organisation's clever approach is called "There is no one-size-fits-all-solution". The organisation therefore works with local communities to identify what help is needed to achieve more sustainable agriculture. Like Heidelberger Spieleverlag, the organisation was founded in 1989 and is primarily active in the sub-Saharan regions of Africa. Detailed information can be found at: https://trees.org.
