Kingdomino Origins, board game, for 2-4 players, from 8 years (DE edition)

As the chiefs of a Stone Age tribe, the players in Kingdomino Origins expand their tribal territory to become the most respected chief. To do this, they not only have to hunt and gather resources, but also use the red-hot lava from volcanoes to bring their tribe the vital fire.

Three game modes await the players in Kingdomino Origins: The fire mode introduces the Kingdomino game principle, in which a domino with two landscapes must be installed in one's own tribal territory in each round. But only those who manage to place the fire-breathing volcanoes sensibly and thus ignite fires in the territories receive the coveted prestige points. More challenge and variety are promised by the totem mode, which brings resources into play, and the cave mode. The players can now win cave people for their tribe, which bring additional prestige points at the end of the game if they have been skilfully settled in the tribal area.

After Kingdomino (Game of the Year 2017), Kingdomino: Age of Giants, Queendomino and the children's variant Dragomino (Children's Game of the Year 2021), Bruno Cathala continues his multi-award-winning Kingdomino series with Kingdomino Origins, breaking new ground both thematically and mechanically.
