Welcome to the mansion of J. Robert Lucky, in the middle of a sprawling estate seven miles north of nowhere. All the players have gathered here for one and the same reason: They want to kill Doctor Lucky, because they all detest him for a variety of reasons. However, the players do not work together at all, instead they all try to achieve this triumph for themselves. However, Doctor Lucky's name says it all: The old man knows how to avoid all dangers. But with the goal in mind, a little tactical skill, patience and, of course, luck, today will be Doctor Lucky's last hour.

In Kill Doctor Lucky, the players sneak through his villa, collect murder weapons, thwart the plans of the others and try to meet up with Doctor Lucky in a secluded place to put their plan into action without being seen. To do this, they all start in the dressing room, then move from room to room, either drawing cards or attempting murder. These are rather harmless at the beginning of the game, but each failed attempt increases the assassin's base strength. Added to this are the strengths of the weapons found in the course of the game. If Doctor Lucky now runs out of luck because the other players have no suitable cards in their hands, the unpopular doctor will in future look at the radishes of his estate from below.
