Dark cults, strange monsters, dark secrets - all this awaits players in the multiple award-winning pen & paper role-playing game Cthulhu. Together, a group of players experiences a fantastic adventure, through which they are guided by a game master. The basic parameters of the world are predefined, but the group has control over the course of the story through their own actions. Successes and failures are decided by dice tests. And also whether a character, here called Investigator, is rather courageous and daring or rather reserved and prudent, or which character traits he also brings with him, is decided by the players themselves when creating him.

The entry box makes it even easier to enter the dark horror world of the Cthulhu mythos. The box contains the solo adventure Alone Against the Flames, introductory rules and adventures, a total of three books, as well as ready-made investigators to start playing immediately, blank character sheets, a screen including short rules for the game leaders, role-playing dice and handouts for an even more atmospheric game experience. After the members of the game round have individually played through the solo adventure in printed form or as a downloadable PDF (download codes are included) and have familiarised themselves with the first rules, the group experiences three eerie adventures together with a varying number of players.
