51313G - Unknown Lands: The Cartographer, ages 10+ (extension, DE edition)
Unknown Lands - Expansion for: Der Kartograph (DE), ages 10+
The Cartographer: Unknown Lande brings players three new game board blocks for Der Kartograph resp. The Cartographer - Era of Heroes: Nebblis - Plain of Flames, Affril - Plain of Knowledge and Undercity - The Depths of Sabek. Each double-sided block has new rules to vary the game, as well as three new scoring cards that match the respective game board.
Nebblis:It is rumored that the forges of the old Dwarves were magically linked to the great Astmork volcano. The royal cartographers wanted to see for themselves. Now they stand in front of a mountain that spits flames into the smoky black sky of another world. This place could be the key to great fame if you can avoid the rivers of molten rock long enough to complete the map.
Affril:As a rift opened and strange creatures rode through on their bat-like horses, the cartographers knew they would only have one chance to map this plain. They jumped through the rift and found themselves on a network of purple stone arches rising out of a vast, gray sea. Equipped with scales and compass, the royal cartographers begin what is surely the greatest challenge of their careers.
Lower City:Below Nalo's capital Sabek lies the Lower City, a winding labyrinth of corridors, caves and Passages inhabited by local criminals and renegades. The depths of Undercity have never been fully recorded. The last cartographer to attempt this never returned. But that is about to change. The Queen sends her cartographers down into the darkness to explore underground rivers, settlements, and the strange mushroom forests that have formed in phosphorescent caves. Good luck!
