Tainted Grail is a survival and exploration game, which relates the Arthurian legend and Celtic mythology connects to a unique, somber vision. Players control one of four unusual characters who face unimaginable adversity, where stronger and wiser heroes have failed. Pursued by the overwhelming power of the wyrdnis, they set out to save Avalon from doom.
In Tainted Grail, each player chooses one of four unique characters, each with different starting requirements and skills. They travel to Avalon as a group and on their own. You interact with residents, explore mysterious places, collect food and fight numerous enemies. An innovative card mechanism is used in the battles and diplomacy encounters. Again and again, the players read sections from the Book of Discoveries and make decisions that influence the game. It can sometimes be important which character is there at the moment.
Warning:This is the retail edition of Tainted Grail. The figures are untreated. The Kickstarter-exclusive character Niamh is not included.
