Unlike other (board) games, in Spaceship Unity you don't just sit at the table with your crew and push meeples overboard, no, full physical effort is required here! As recruits of the IPA, the Interplanetary Alliance, it's your job to operate the most decrepit, sorry, best spaceship in the fleet. If you thought, "well, a spaceship like that almost flies itself", you're a galaxy away (haha!) from the truth. No, you have to operate different systems in parallel and always hope that they don't fail. So you fly with manual controls, visit the archive, look up something in the training manual, operate the jet drive or even ignite the cyber weapon.
But even if our games are galactically well equipped, we can't provide you with an entire spaceship - but we don't have to, because in Spaceship Unity, normal everyday objects become spaceship systems. Whether it's an umbrella, hoover, books and much more - you can find out how you can use your furnishings to fly through time and space and prevent intergalactic crises at SPIEL 2022.
A game like a TV series!
Spaceship Unity focuses on the story. There is no clear winner or loser, instead you experience an intergalactically exciting adventure together. But just like in real life, the story continues no matter how you finish. However, this doesn't mean you can take the tasks lightly - after all, you are the last hope for galactic peace (as we all know, hope dies last). So keep in mind that the course of history changes with every outcome, whether for better or for worse. It's up to you (yes, that makes everyone in the IPA sick to their stomach) to save us all! Like a good series, Spaceship Unity doesn't end after the first season. So you can look forward to Season 1.2 in 2023.
