Who hasn't opened a packet of chocolates and been surprised by the contents? The playful game "Chocolates" is based on this simple principle. The aim is to find the right tips for the position of various sweet treats. But be careful: "Chocolates" may not have any calories, but it can definitely become addictive.

This game is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get. The game is played with 21 face-down chocolate tiles in different shapes and flavours, 16 of which are arranged in four identical rows, the game grid. On each turn, exactly one praline in the grid or from the adjacent tiles is revealed.

If you like, you can also take a hint card that shows how the pralines could be arranged: Are there more dark chocolate treats on one side of the grid? Are there as many triangular as hexagonal chocolates in the outer area? If you decide in favour of one of the face-up hint cards, you agree or disagree with the statement - but you have to stick to your judgement for the rest of the game. It is also important to decide when to choose the betting cards: Do you prefer to gamble and quickly secure a high-scoring card, even if only a few chocolates have been revealed, or do you proceed cautiously when the probabilities are easier to predict? Making the right decisions in "Chocolates" requires courage and good tactics.

Not only is chocolate highly addictive, but so is this game, which is suitable for two to four chocolate fans aged ten and over. Just as boxes of chocolates often empty in a very short time, it only takes around 15 minutes in "Chocolates" before it is clear who has guessed or gambled best. The tempting packet lasts much longer than its sweet counterpart, making it an ideal and long-lasting gift, for example for birthdays or Valentine's Day.
