6694 - Art Gallery, board game, 2-6 players, from 10 years (DE edition)
You simply have to see this museum: Where else can you admire the mysterious "Mona Lisa", the mystical "Starry Night" or "The Poor Poet" in a single visit?
Assigned as tour guides, two to six people aged ten and over search for the best route through this unique art exhibition at "Art Gallery".
Forty-eight of the most famous paintings from the world's most famous museums are brought together by author Francesco Frittelli in this wonderfully designed family game.
The tour guides move around both the museum shop and the gallery rooms, the number and modular game board size of which is based on the people playing.
Each round, everyone takes their turn four times and always lays one action card face up and another face down on an action space. Those who act tactically skilfully here are rewarded in the subsequent distribution of the painting tiles and cards in the shop and gallery and may add an - almost real - Botticelli, Raphael or Kandinsky to their collection. The detailed game instructions provide more detailed information such as the artist's name and year of origin.
In the course of the game, the player's own collection of paintings grows steadily. However, it is important to pay attention to the symbols on the painting cards, because only the most valuable connected row earns points in the final scoring. Whoever has found the best route through the gallery at the end will not only receive praise and recognition, but also victory. A visit to the Art Gallery takes about 45 minutes.
