Product Description

A unique model of an instantly recognisable and still running tank. PzKpfw VI Tiger with the number 131. The famous Tiger was captured by the British in Africa during the Second World War and is now the biggest attraction of the Armoured Museum!

The Tiger 131 made of bricks has been faithfully reproduced in 1:28 scale. It has movable elements such as a turret and a gun barrel as well as rotating wheels and tracks. The sophisticated set consists of 1,275 elements and faithfully reflects the original shapes of its historical model. Our powerful armoured tank made of clamping bricks features high-quality prints that won't wear off. Particularly noteworthy is the new, true-to-original colour scheme, which makes the model look stunning! The design of the tank has also changed. It is even better and more detailed. We have used a completely new drive wheel here. The structure of the turret is also completely different and is based on the original in terms of detail, with the elements of the interior skilfully imitated with clamping bricks. The set includes a miniature model of the Maybach engine, which can be displayed next to the armoured model or placed in the tank under the service hatch. The model has movable wheels and chains consisting of many links. While having fun, you can drive the tank and watch the chain drive work! The replica tank ammunition supplied can be stored inside the vehicle. The hatches can be opened and there is space underneath for standard COBI figures. The entire set is complemented by a white plate with the name of the tank and the logo of The Tank Museum!

Panzerkampfwagen VI or Tiger is a German heavy tank from the Second World War. Its characteristic shape is still recognisable all over the world. The vehicle itself has become a legend and is still present not only in historical museums but also in many films. The first Tiger units were delivered to the front near Leningrad and Tunisia in August/September 1942. Designed and manufactured by Henschel, the tank was very modern and effective. Unfortunately, its production required enormous resources of valuable raw materials and time. Tiger I and some Tiger II tanks had a significant impact on the course of hostilities. The infamous and fearsome Tigers destroyed over 10,300 Allied tanks and 11,380 guns, with their own losses totalling 1,725.
